DEVOLIN SADDENED TO LEARN OF THE DEATH OF BROCK TOWNSHIP WARD 2 COUNCILLOR HAROLD LODWICK

LINDSAY:  - Local MP Barry Devolin is saddened to hear of the passing of Brock Township Ward 2 Councillor Harold Lodwick.

Local media are reporting Lodwick was killed Tuesday following a motor vehicle collision in East Gwillimbury .

“I first met Harold following his victory in the 2006 municipal election,” said Devolin.  “Right then I knew he was a champion for the Beaverton-area and for Brock Township .”

“Harold’s career was marked by strong leadership, wise management and a sterling dedication to his community. His life was a shining example everyone associated with public service in Canada ,” said Devolin.

“On behalf of the Government of Canada, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family at this difficult time.”
